Derrick Broze, kang of the grifters
Kang Grifter. Master of Woo Woo Cultism. Beater of the women (and men but no one saw this). But only the ones that are weaker than him.
This article is unpublished and doesn’t fit well with my other content. It’s here only to serve as reply to a comment.
This is a no one to me. Apparently he has a following on Substack though. But it’s amusing. A lot of people interact with Broze and leave thinking he’s a cult leader. For a long time, he would engage with other local groups. His ideology was always naked self-opportunism. He claimed to be an anti-government anarchist for years, and then he ran for Mayor. He dedicated himself to the campaign. He pulled 686 votes coming in 10th for Houston Mayor. It’s hard to build up a movement of anarchists to support your electoral aspirations.
His identities are ever changing, incoherent, and cluttered with trendy buzzwords like agorist, voluntarist, ancap, and other such nonsense. There is seldom a plan to get to his desired utopia.
For years he quoted out of a book called “New Libertarian Manifesto” which is only 10-15 pages. And, I was 100% convinced that he never read it.
Beating Women
This whole post is in response to a polite inquiry on this,
Can do!
And also (not sure if this came before or after),
Racist Statues
Can you imagine opposing the removal of a Jefferson Davis statue? I mean ostensibly he’s for removing the entire public education system, but the racist statue? That he’ll speak out for.
On Private Property
Of course, you’d think when debating Brooze would at least stand on private property. Especially when he’s cited in an article that’s high on it.
They negotiated sovereignty with the government of Honduras, where the laws of Honduras do not apply to Prospera. And so, it’s a private city where they’re providing some of the strongest private property protections in the world. They have some of the strongest economic freedom in the world.
But Broze is more interested in running a cult of Woo Woo than defending any philosophical position,
